Airport meals on Monday, May 19, 2008
I spent eight hours in airports or airplanes on Monday. Because I didn't have time for breakfast, I ate a chocolate truffle my Dad had saved from a special gift he'd ordered for my Mom for her birthday in April. This was the last one, and I ate it while waiting at the Denver airport. Later I got a salad with blue cheese and walnuts for something like eleven dollars.

This food log (flog) is fun! It's interesting that photographing meals also provides opportunities for viewers to peek into the life of the photographer/eater of those meals. I happen to be the woman for whom the chocolate truffles were purchased. In other words, I am the mother of Brooke Sparrow Budy, a gem of a man. Perhaps he'll soon post a photograph of himself on his profile, so other viewers of this flog can imagine him at his various "tables."
Here in the Arkansas Ozarks, Todd Budy and I are about to have an undocumented breakfast, including fresh orange juice.
